As a photographer when I travel to a place that I've never been to before the first question that comes to my mind is "are there any cool places that I should shoot while I'm here." Often I'm traveling on business and don't have a lot of free time, so I need to go to the best places in the short amount of time that I have. Flickr.com is a great photo and social networking site that photographers can not only upload their shots to, but they can also geotag or map them so that others will know where the shot was taken.
Foto Brisko delivers shot suggestions in a slick and easy to use interface
The mission of Foto Brisko is to show you possible shots based on your current location or by searching a location that you're headed to. It then populates that area of the map with a minimum of 20 shots (provided that many exist) that you might want to capture while you're there. See a thumbnail you like and just click on it to see the shot larger in the App. If you really like that shot you can immediately add it to YOUR shot list as well as share it on Twitter or Email it.

You can even dig deeper into the shot and see any camera EXIF data (camera settings) that the photographer made available. This goes a long way in helping you even further towards getting the shot you saw.

I want more
While this App works as advertised, and I long for an App that promises to take the guess work out of location finding, Foto Brisko needs more. While it's great that I can find a shot and add it to a shoot list, it doesn't offer much more than that. For example, where exactly is that place? I still have to figure out where exactly the location is? If you really wanted to take this App to the next level, it would also provide information about the location itself like best time to shoot, fees and permits required if any, etc.

The Bottom Line
Foto Brisko is a great start and offers a cool interface to looking at Flickr.com shots by location. I would love to see it do more!
Foto Brisko
Foto Brisko uses your current location or search location to show you photos taken in that area that are posted on Flickr. It then let's you compile a shoot list of your favorite shots so that you can capture them too.

You were vary gracious in your review. You gave it one more star than anyone has given it on the iTunes store. Seems like a product with potential however.
I concur with Dan (above). The idea has great potential but the app, in it's current form, has limited usefulness.
