  1. Have you tried the BBC news app? I love it.
The ABC app crashes every time after about 2 seconds.
pages and keynote both rock. Transfered my photoshop world class keynote to the ipad and even though it changed some of the fonts, it played really well and was pretty easy to edit.

    • ABC is crashing for me too. It has worked a few times but usually it dies when I start a show. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

      • Have you guys tried turning your iPad’s off and on again? Does it improve ABC when you do?

        • ABC has already pushed out an update to the APP.
I have updated the ipad and will try it again later today. I have high hopes.

  2. Watching this didn't help…I want the iPad even more now… Oh Apple! When will this come to Sweden?

  3. NPR interface is stunning. Browse other stories while listening. Sketchbook Pro – wow! Glenn says BBC is great too but i had to chase the bunny yesterday for Enquirer & havent seen it yet. USA Today in photos is beautiful on ipad. Hoping we get similar for our newspaper app here in Cincy. PhotoGene looks great 2.

  4. If viewing list on iphone itunes wont open some of the links.

Hey Terry. Any idea if Adobe is planning to release Lightroom or Photoshop for the iPad? That's the only thing keeping me from buying one.

  5. I'm hoping to see the different iPhone model release applications updated for iPad soon.

  6. I released a portrait guide for the iPad, its a great guide for people wanting to get better portraits and has some beautiful large screen images.  Check it out and let me know what you think, http://bit.ly/buMWia
    just $1.99!

  7. Terry,

when the 3g model (ipad) comes out, do think I can use the virgin USB you can buy at bestbuy to access the web ( I think Virgin uses the sprint network and is cheaper than at&t, I think?

    • There is no other way to attach an internet connection device to the iPad. So your choices are either WiFi, AT&T 3G in the states (T-Mobile doesn’t have the right freq) or using a Verizon, Sprint, etc. MiFi card.

Terry, do you have a suggestion on 3G setup for iPad? I keepmgetting messages that say my e-mail address is already in use. No obvious place to go on attt website for help, and apple turfed me to AT&T. Help! Thanks.

  8. Just to clarify, the USA Today App content is free until July 2010, thanks to it's sponsor (Courtyard by Marriot).  They are saying that it will be a subscription-based model after that time.

On here you have Weatherbug Elite but which version is it?  Is it the Weatherbug Elite for iPad (free) or Weatherbug Elite (99 cents)?  Didn't know if there is even a difference between the two?

Back in January, I predicted that the ability to use the iPad as a second monitor for a MacBook would make an iPad purchase a "no-brainer" for Mac owners. Turns out, there is such an app: iDisplay! I am surprised that it didn't make your Top 10.
Time will tell if iDisplay is The Killer App.

I was really waiting to see the netflix app, but you skipped it.. :(

  9. Terry,
Did you know that Google Chrome is warning users that terrywhite.com may have harmful malware?  Bummer cause I'd love to read your IPad review….

Terry, have you tried GoodReader yet?  For only $1 I'm just tempted to get it and try it, but just curious.
