@Random – Right now he likes pyaling “sugar daddy” to his girls. So he puts them up in condos and is paying them. Most of the other WPS players have to live with sponsor families. That’s why Hope Solo is so loyal to Daddy. But that will quickly change now that his broken toy isn’t as much fun. The league is on its last legs and Borislow probably can’t afford to waste more money on the team anyway. He really just wanted an adult version of his daughter’s youth team to play with. So the magicjack players will soon be thrown out of those condos. Then we’ll see how much those girls love him.

I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly do not know about. I bought Keynote for the iPad thinking I could just copy my already created graphics, animation and design intensive files over the iPad and shown them. Big Mistake! One of my most used fonts is Chalkboard. Although there is no Chalkboard installed or available on the iPad there is a Chalkboard SE. It is identical in all respects to Chalkboard. But on the iPad Keynote performs an automatic font substitution, but NOT to Chalkboard SE but to some other horrible font that screws up all of my canned lectures and seminars. Oh Apple, how could you?

Have you tried talkatone? All you need is a google voice phone number and wifi. I use it on my iPad all the time. The app is free, the calls are free.

I had MagicJack on my iMac for a while but dropped it for a couple of reasons.

1. The USB dongle software kept getting corrupted, necessitating a clumsy process to fix it. I don’t want a ‘phone’ that requires fixing every couple of months.

2. Strange as it sounds, there was no way to turn off the voice mail. I wanted to use it in conjunction with Google Voice with GV taking messages. I couldn’t do that. If I wasn’t running MagicJack, every call that came in to either my MJ or GV number went to MJ’s voice mail. MagicJack promised a fix, but after a year of waiting, I gave up, dropped MagicJack, and signed up for Skype’s outgoing service. GV still isn’t being used. I use my T-Mobile cell phone for incoming and Skype’s cheaper-per-minute rate for longer outgoing calls.

Skype’s not perfect. I find their many plans confusing and technical issues mean my outgoing calls don’t have my number as the caller ID. But It works fine on my iMac and occasionally I use it via WiFi on my iPhone.

It is indeed a great app and game but the problem is with its high price. I think for a game about which we already know what is inside, paying of around $10 is little too much but still people pay.

The APP I’d love to see in 2012.

Way back when, with the first Nokia phones, they had a menu setting that allowed you to turn phone to silent for a period or until a particular time (eg if you were going into a meeting that was expected to run for an hour, you could say turn back on in 60 minutes or turn back on at noon or whatever).

It was a great feature, as your phone was silent for the meeting, but you didn’t have to remember to turn it back on at the end. It was available in all those early phones, but doesn’t seem to be available these days on any.

I find these days I turn the phone to silent before many meetings, and then forget to turn it back to normal mode.

Wouldn’t it be great to have an app to do this on the iPhone? Or indeed is there one I have missed?
