The latest version of Photoshop Touch for iPad adds an optimized interface for iPad mini, but that’s not the big news. The big news is that Photoshop Touch now supports various Pressure Sensitive Styli. It supports the Pogo Connect, Jot Touch and JaJa Devices. Admitedly I don’t use Photoshop Touch as much as perhaps I could or would like to and part of the reason for this lack of use is that in order to do the retouching that I’m accustom do doing, I’d want pressure sensitivity. Since the iPad doesn’t have this capability you have to look to the next best thing and that’s a Bluetooth Stylus that talks to your App (Photoshop Touch) and can relate the amount of pressure you’re applying directly to the App.
As soon as I saw the news I ordered a Pogo Connect. I can’t wait to try it.
This update also includes: Smoother Brush Strokes, Two new menu effects: Lens Flare & Stamp Pattern and Improved grid layout for project, tutorials and images.
