As a photographer I find myself using not only my Nikon DSLRs, but also my iPhone more and more to grab quick snapshots and share them. Since the iPhone really doesn't have a way of zooming (sans an app), or going really wide angle. I shoot panoramas. While I could wait till I get back to my computer and stitch those shots together using Adobe Photoshop CS4. It's sometimes more convenient to just stitch them right on my iPhone 3GS.
I've tried a few and AutoStitch Panorama is my choice
Although I've tried a few stitching apps for the iPhone, I settled on AutoStitch Panorama as my choice for "BEST" App. Sure the other ones work, but AutoStitch works the way that I expect it to! It's simple. You shoot multiple shots either portrait or landscape with some overlap and them you open up AutoStitch Panorama, select them and let it do the rest. Within a few moments AutoStitch returns your beautifully stitched pano back to you ready to go. I really like the built-in cropping tool. I couldn't believe that some apps wouldn't even allow you to crop inside the app.

The Bottom Line
There really isn't much else to say about this app. You shoot, select your photos, stitch and crop! That's it and it does what it says it does quite well. I guess you could complain that the app doesn't actually access the Camera directly. In other words you have to shoot with the Camera App first before launching AutoStitch, but that really doesn't bother me at all. So I give this one a "must have" recommendation for any photographer or anyone wanting to do panos on their iPhone.

AutoStitch Panorama
AutoStitch Panorama allows you to quickly and easily stitch photos together seamlessly as panoramas. Great cropping controls and of course saving the finished pano back to your camera roll.

Hi Terry,
I absolutely agree with you on this app. It is amazing!
I also wrote my own review about it, and I have also a couple of panoramas there that I made using this app.
